SCROLL DOWN PAST DESCRIPTION TO SEE ADDITONAL SAMPLE IMAGES FROM THIS ALBUM<br>Here is a nice photo album documenting the military service of a soldier around 1949.<br>I counted a total of 266 photos.<br>The album can be categorized as follows:<br>1<br>st<br>half of the album is a combination of military training and sightseeing in California.<br>Appears he was in long beach.<br>There are also photos that appear to be Yosemite or a National Park visited.<br>Also pictures of Wawona tree.<br>One photo probably of their trip to the park shows a sign for the Hotel Fresno.<br>Also a few photo folders from Long Beach bars/restaraunts.<br>In this section there is about 76 photos.<br>2<br>nd<br>half of the album is his time in Japan.<br>Starts out with showing outside and inside pictures of the Noboribetsu<br>Grand Hotel including a luggage label showing the same angle as in one of the photos.<br>One photo shows Camp Chitose which is a base in Japan where he may have been stationed.<br>Some pictures show military maneuvers in the snow.<br>Towards the end of this section are a few pages where it appears he is back in California at a military base.<br>Some funny photos of men holding M1919 browning machine guns. 193 in this section including some loose photos found next to the back cover.<br>Album binding and pages are intact.<br>Photos are held in with corner mounts.<br>Probably less than 10 photos missing but they may be some that are also loose in the album found at the back of the album.<br>A nice complete chronology of military service around the time of the Korean War.<br>Email any questions or for additional or close-up pictures.<br>Buyer to pay shipping.<br>Please see my other auctions.
